CABANES IN DISTRESS
First of all I would like to
thank everyone for your support. Now
let’s get down to business and get-ur-done.
We have three Cabanes in Texas
that will be folding if they don’t get your support.
This message is to all Voyageurs
and Dames. Please if you know
someone who is involved with veterans, age 18 or older who possess a strong
willingness to support our organization. INVITE
THEM.
Dames make sure your Cabane is
meeting on a regular basis. Don’t
make excuses. Set your time and
place and be there. If you are
having problems, get together for a lunch or something to figure out what’s
going on. I know there are many
women out there who only need an invitation and would be delighted to join.
It is very difficult for me to
believe that such a great organization as the 40/8 would not be able to get the
support it needs from the La Femme’s.
My wish for this next year is to
get all our Cabanes strong in membership to carry on this great legacy of this
Texas La Cabanes.
The Texas La Femmes are one of
the greatest groups of women you could ever associate yourself with and I truly
believe we can get strong again with everyone’s help.
